Suntory Australia takes over distribution of Remy-Cointreau from Coca-Cola Amatil
Suntory Australia has taken over the distribution of the Remy-Cointreau portfolio that was previously controlled in Australia by Coca-Cola Amatil (CCA).
Suntory Australia will assume control of the domestic distribution of the Piper-Heidsieck, Cointreau and Remy Martin brands.
CCA said the change would have no material impact on their liquor distribution business as other premium brands, including Courvoiser Cognac and Laphroaig Islay, had already begun to fill the void.
“We’re very happy with the new arrangements because operationally it’s a more streamlined structure,” the company told The Australian Financial Review.
Suntory also distributes the Midori, Frangelico, Jagermeister, Glenfiddich, Jose Cuervo and Campari brands in Australia.
