Australia’s Byron Bay Gourmet Foods’ has been awarded a prestigious Silver sofi for its Gluten-Free Rosemary & Sea Salt Crispbread Crackers.America’s National Association for the Specialty Food Trade (NASFT) sofiTM Awards are the highest honour in the specialty food industry in the USA and this year’s competition was stiff, with 1,570 products submitted across 31 award categories.
Chairman of Byron Bay Gourmet Foods, Gordon Slater, says “We are delighted that our Gluten-Free Rosemary & Sea Salt Crispbreads have been recognised for their top quality, taste and appeal within just months of being launched into the USA.”
Byron Bay Gourmet Foods crispbreads are wafer-thin, have a unique crisp texture, and come in three subtle flavours; Original; Sesame and; Cracked Pepper & Chives – perfect for entertaining or everyday snacking.
The gluten-free varieties are the newest in the range, having launched in America in January 2010 and then entering the Australian market in March 2010. They come in two flavours: Original; and Rosemary & Sea Salt.
