New Australian national restaurants directory launched
A new national online restaurants directory, featuring 35,000 of Australia’s restaurants, cafes and takeaways has been launched today.
The Australian Restaurants Directory (www.australianrestaurantsdirectory.com.au) aims to help the public find restaurants easily and promotes restaurants to diners.
The directory is the brainchild of Christina Landis, who is the managing director of Future Media Group, which also produces the online Australian Lawyers Directory and Australian Schools Directory.
Ms Landis said the directory will fill a niche in the market with an easy to use comprehensive directory for diners.
“We list 35,000 restaurants, cafes and takeaways and diners can easily find them by location and cuisine,” Ms Landis said. “Diners will also be able to find restaurants by special features and those offering specials.
“Uniquely, each restaurant has a whole page devoted to its food and service. The restaurants can announce specials, add photos and menus to their page, and details can be updated anytime,” she said.
Restaurant reviews will not be featured on the Australian Restaurants Directory.
The directory will be helpful to the restaurant industry as well as the public, according to Ms Landis.
there is nothing Unique about it, apart from the fact that you can’t read of write reviews.
