Low sugar flavoured water for kids launches in Australia
A new low sugar flavoured water range for children, called Water Buddies, will be available in Australian supermarkets in May 2013.
The beverages, which are produced by New Zealand food manufacturer MMC Tradelink Ltd, will be available in Woolworths stores and New Zealand Natural Ice Cream stores. The expansion into the Australian market will be in part managed by Australian food marketing and distribution company Menora Foods, which said it expected the drinks would also soon be available in IGA supermarkets and stores.

MMC Tradelink Ltd said the Australian expansion is the first step towards the Company’s goal of making Water Buddies a global brand.

MMC Tradelink Ltd said it was still it was preparing for more growth and was in negotiations with other large grocery and corporate fuel banners in New Zealand and Australia.
I assume this product will have a health warning on it due to the added suger content. Maybe a junk food label on the side so that buyers are aware its not water, its actually a suger drink without the bubbles.
