SodaStream partners with I Quit Sugar
Home soda making company SodaStream Australia has announced its sponsorship of the first-ever ‘I Quit Sugar Kids Cookbook’.
The partnership sees SodaStream sponsor the beverages sections, which features recipes for sugar-free drinks aimed at both children and adults, including Lemonade, Coconut Berry Fizz and Gingerade.
The ‘I Quit Sugar Kids Cookbook’ is the latest book from author and health advocate Sarah Wilson, whose successful ‘I Quit Sugar’ program and cookbooks have reached more than 350,000 people looking to control their sugar intake.
“There are two causes that I and the ‘I Quit Sugar’ team are very passionate about right now: getting us all to consume less sugar, particularly in beverages, and minimising food packaging and waste,” Ms Wilson said. “Any product that ticks off both of these causes, I’m a big supporter of,” she said.
SodaStream said it was “all about better-for-you and better-for-the-planet” beverages and the chance to sponsor the ‘I Quit Sugar Kids Cookbook’ offered “the perfect opportunity” to reinforce this message to “health and eco-conscious” Australians.
“The ‘I Quit Sugar’ program has a wildly successful following and we’re looking forward to connecting with the audience and educating them on the benefits of the SodaStream system,” said Laura Wilson, Marketing Director for SodaStream Australia. “Whether you’re quitting sugar completely or cutting back, SodaStream Drinks Makers can help families control, customise and create their own sparkling drinks, making it easier to regulate sugar consumption,” she said.
The SodaStream Drinks Maker transforms tap water into carbonated drinks, cocktails and sparkling water.
Many people quit sugar, but most go back to it.
