Rekorderlig introduces new Dry Apple Cider
Premium cider brand Rekorderlig has launched a new Dry Apple Cider in Australia.
Australian Food News reported in January 2014 that Australian food and beverage company Coca-Cola Amatil (CCA) was set to distribute the Rekorderlig brand in Australia, along with several other ciders and premium beers.
CCA said Rekorderlig Dry Äpple Cider was a “modern twist to a much loved classic”, and that the “crisp apple cider is lightly golden in colour and has a dry, clean finish”.
“Cider innovation is driving the cider category with Rekorderlig at the heart of it,” said Nikki Langford, Rekorderlig Marketing Manager. “We are thrilled to be launching a really exciting innovation – Rekorderlig Dry Äpple,” she said.
“Adding a new dry addition to our hugely successful portfolio, we are confident our new modern and premium apple cider will be a huge hit with Australian consumers by rewarding our existing Rekorderlig fans and also attracting new ones,” Ms Langford said.
Australian Food News reported in June 2014 that cider’s popularity was continuing to grow, with market research organisation Roy Morgan Research finding that cider consumption in Australia was set to overtake that of pre-mixed spirits.
The Rekorderlig Dry Äpple is the latest creation from the family-owned fourth generation brewery in Vimmerby, Sweden. The Rekorderlig flavour range includes Pomegranate, much-loved Strawberry-Lime, Apple-Guava, Passionfruit, juicy Wild Berries, crisp Pear, tropical Mango-Raspberry, Orange-Ginger, traditional Swedish-style Apple, Apple & Blackcurrant.
