Peters have released two new Drumstick ice cream flavours in honour of Australian celebrities, Dame Edna and Jimmy Barnes, under the branded theme ‘Aussie Legends’.

The two new flavours are:

Dame Edna’s Glamington – A sponge cake flavoured ice cream with a raspberry swirl, topped with choc-coconut ice cream, chocolate sauce and a sprinkle of coconut.

Jimmy Barnes’ One Tough Cookie – A cookie dough flavoured ice cream with cookie dough pieces, topped with chocolate sauce and cookie crumbs.

Both ice creams are served in the usual Drumstick cone with a chocolate tip.

Packaging includes pictures and signatures from both the celebrities.

According to Figures produced by market analysts Nielsens, published in latest Retail World’s December 2014 annual report, Peters have the largest volume market-share within the overall ice cream ice cream grocery sector. The ice cream manufacturer currently holds a 27.4 per cent volume share.

Peters also leads the indulgent ice cream grocery category in Australia with a 48 per cent volume share within the grocery sector.

The ‘Aussie Legends’ Drumstick ice creams are available now in supermarkets across Australia. The recommended retail price is $7.99 for a 4-park.

The Drumsticks will be available in single-serves from convenience stores from September 2015 with a recommended retail price of  $3.80.
