Hahn RadlerLion’s Hahn has introduced a new Radler style beer created for the Australian market.

Radler is a German-style lager traditionally consisting of 50 per cent beer and 50 per cent lemon juice. However ‘Hahn Radler’ is 70 per cent beer and 30 per cent natural lemon. Hahn said it decided to increase the amount of beer after consumer product testing revealed this was the prefered mix in Australia.

The beer is a light offering with a 3.2 per cent alcohol count.

Hahn Radler is the first beverage part of ‘Hahn Brewers’ Projects’ which will see a new drink released regularly inspired by the changing drinking habits of Australians. Hahn said beverages released as part of the line will be primarily targeted at occasional beer drinkers.

Hahn’s research discovered that 2.8 million Australian adults have consumed beer over the past 12 months but not within the last 4 weeks.

Hahn was established in 1988 and its other beverages include Hahn Super Dry, Hahn Super Dry 3.5, Hahn Premium and Hahn Premium Light.

Hahn Radler is available now at  liquor retailers across Australia and has a recommended retail price of $18 for a six-pack or $54 for a carton.
