Old El Paso launches restaurant inspired range
General Mills’ Mexican cooking brand Old El Paso has launched a new restaurant–inspired range in Australia.
The new meal-bases aim to help shoppers cook home-made versions of dishes typically found in Mexican restaurants.
The range includes:
- Guacamole Seasoning
- Steak Carne Asada Seasons
- Pork Al Pastor Seasoning
- Chicken Tinga Soft Taco
- Chicken Tinga Seasons for Chicken
- Steak Cave Asade Soft Taco
- Pork Al Pastor Soft Taco Kit
Similar to Old El Paso’s existing meal kits, users are required to add fresh ingredients purchased separately.
General Mills say that the new products are a chance to ‘cook like the locals’ and have been focusing marketing efforts around the slogan.
The Old El Paso Restaurante range is available now from Coles, Woolworths and Independent supermarkets. Recommended retail prices vary from product to product.
