Aldi wins over supermarket and mobile shoppers

AldiAldi has won the hearts of not only grocery food shoppers but those looking for a mobile phone service provider.

The latest results from Roy Morgan Research’s customer service satisfaction awards for September 2015 named Aldi as supermarket of the month along with being the mobile phone service provider of the month.

Aldi knocked South Australian arm of the Metcash IGA network, Foodland, from first spot. Coles came in third, followed by Woolworths supermarkets, remaining in the same positions as the companies did last month.

Aldi remained the number one customer satisfying mobile service provider despite experiencing a drop in overall customer satisfaction when compared to last month’s rating. It came in front of  providers including Virgin Mobile, iiNet and Southern Phone.

The coffee shop of the month went to Muffin Break and the quick service restaurant award went to Fasta Pasta which has Italian restaurants across Australia.

The Customer Satisfaction Awards are based on data from Roy Morgan’s Consumer Single Source survey (over 50,000 consumers annually), as well as Roy Morgan’s Business Single Source survey (over 12,000 business decision makers annually). These two large, nationwide studies provide a thorough and accurate way to identify and recognise Australia’s top businesses in Customer Satisfaction.
