Chang'sAsian food brand, Chang’s, is launching a new savoury stock into Woolworths supermarkets.

‘Chang’s Chinese Master Stock’ comes in a pre-made 500ml serving. It is a vegetable-based broth ideal for soups, stir-fry’s and braised dishes.

Elaine Pow, Chang’s General Manager, said the stock offers the right type of ingredients to Australians who are becoming more comfortable experimenting with Asian flavours.

“The idea of developing a Chinese Master Stock was born from wanting to bring one of the most important, yet complex and time consuming Chinese flavours to the kitchens of homes across Australia,” said Pow.

Chang’s say the stock is made using the historic Chinese method of slow-cooking garlic, ginger, fennel, staranise, vinegar and rice wine together.

The stock is available now from Woolworths supermarkets Australia-wide. The recommended retail price is AUD $4.99.
