Wesfarmers’ First Choice Liquor chain has introduced a home delivery service. It is the first major alcohol chain in Australia to do so.

First Choice Liquor will offer its delivery service 9am – 9pm, Monday to Fridays, and 9am – 5pm Saturdays. Pricing varies between city, regional and country areas. There is also different pricing depending on whether the customer would like their alcohol delivered that day or within several days’ time.

In city areas, alcohol can be delivered on the same day for AUD $14.95 or AUD $6.95 for delivery between 2 – 5 business days. In country areas there is no same day delivery and it costs AUD $18.95 for delivery between 3 – 10 business days.

Customers must be home at the time of delivery as First Choice Liquor says by law they cannot leave unattended alcohol deliveries within certain parts of Australia.

Consignment numbers will be issued as soon as an order is placed so customers can track orders.

The service is not offered to certain parts of the Northern Territory, Queensland and Western Australia.
