Health Lab launches protein smoothie range
The Health Lab has launched a range of ready-to-drink protein smoothies.
The smoothies contain 17g of protein per serving and are available in three flavours; chocolate, strawberry and coffee.
All flavour options are gluten free and contain approximately 150 calories per serving.
Like Health Lab’s other products, the protein smoothies are targeted at female consumers.
Health Lab’s protein smoothies are available from Coles Express, Caltex, About Life and select Coles supermarkets from October 2016. The recommended retail price is AUD $3.99 per 250ml serving.
Health Lab was established by Jess Thomas who was working as a marketing manager when she could not find any healthy afternoon snacks she did not consider boring.
Today Health Lab sells its smoothies along with protein shake powder and protein balls. Its protein balls will be available on Virgin domestic and short international flights from October 2016.
