New Zealand brand, Mother Earth, has launched a range of traditional muesli bars into Australian Woolworths supermarkets.

Available from 31 October 2016, the range comes in three flavour varieties – strawberry and yoghurt, honeycomb and yogurt, and chocolate chip.

Mother Earth Marketing Manager, Caroline Potter says the bars are ideal as a snack or for school lunchboxes.

“Mother Earth’s muesli bars are everything a traditional muesli bar should be,” Potter said.

The recommended retail price is AUD $5 for a box of 12 muesli bars.

Mother Earth already sells peanut butter, oat slices, fruit sticks and ‘breakfast-on-the-go’ products in Australian supermarkets. The company was first established as a nuts and snack company in Hamilton, New Zealand, in 1984.

In 2009, Mother Earth was acquired by Prolife Foods, a privately owned New Zealand company which also owns Alison’s Pantry, Value Pack and Donovans chocolates.
