Kellogg’s gives LCM bars a health makeover
Kellogg’s has given its LCM bars a health makeover.
The LCM bars are a snack bar with a base of Rice Bubbles (rice krispies) mixed together with different flavours.
The new LCM Oaty Bubble Bars contain oats alongside the Rice Bubbles. The Oaty Bubble Bars also have 25 per cent less sugar per 100g than original LCM bars.
Oaty Bubble Bars have been awarded a 3.5 health start rating.
Two flavour options are available, Original and Strawberry and Apple. Original contains 37 per cent whole grain oats, whilst Strawberry and Apple contains 33 per cent whole grain oats. Kellogg’s describes the bars as a source of fibre and as containing no artificial colours or flavours.
The bars are available now from Woolworths, Coles and independent supermarkets. The recommended retail price is AUD $4.00 for a box of five bars.
