State of the art Woolworths distribution facility under construction
A new state-of-the-art Woolworths distribution facility is currently being built in the outer suburbs of Melbourne.
Owned by the Charter Hall Group, the facility is located across 15.9 hectares of land in Dandenong South, 35 kilometres south-east of the Melbourne CBD.
Construction is expected to be completed in early 2018. Once finished, Woolworths will lease the property for 20 years.
The property will include automated warehousing space, along with corporate office space. It is situated within three kilometres of the Western Port Toll Road and Eastlink Motorway.
