Cobs launches American inspired popcorn range

Cobs is selling a new range of flavoured popcorn that pays homage to the United States.

Cobs’ new Americana range consists of three flavours – Hickory Bar-B-Q, California Ranch and Vermont Maple Vanilla.

Ravit Walys, Cobs Co-Founder, said Cobs wanted to create a tribute to the “land of popcorn”.

“Cobs uses the finest quality ingredients, including the very best corn available, and we’re really celebrating some classic American flavours with this new range,” said Walys.

America has been a recent major inspiration for Cobs with the company launching a sweet and savoury mixed popcorn in June 2017 that was inspired by Chicago.

The Cobs Americana range is available now at independent supermarkets in 100gm servings for the California Ranch and Hickory Bar-B-Q options and in a 120gm serving for the Vermont Maple Vanilla. The recommended retail price is AUD $3.29 per serving.

Cobs Popcorn was founded in 2004 by John and Ravit Walys, who began making the products in their home kitchen. Today the company sells its popcorn through Coles, IGA, FoodLand, Thomas Dux and Boost Juice.
