New Local Legends jerky coming to supermarkets

Australian jerky producers, Local Legends, are selling two new jerky varieties.

Local Legends were recently faced with the option of increasing stock of its original beef jerky but instead decided to launch the two new flavours to capitalise on untapped niche markets.

The two new flavours are Asian-inspired Char Siu Pork Jerky and Nice N Spicy beef jerky.

“We are proud to deliver a flavoursome snack that pushes boundaries and still maintains the high protein, low fat ratio that Local Legends is known for,” said Local Legend’s National Sales Manager, Michael Langtry.

The two new flavours will be available in Coles from October 2017. Other Local Legend branded jerky products already are sold in Coles, Woolworths and IGA stores.

The new flavours will join Local Legends’ pork jerky, first launched in April 2017.

Local Legends is based in the regional New South Wales town of Casino.
