Beverage producer Coca-Cola South Pacific has officially launched Coca-Cola Plus Coffee No Sugar, a limited edition product designed especially for the Australian market.

Coca-Cola Plus Coffee No Sugar has a mild sweetness and offers a rich coffee aroma.

Evgenia Papageorgiou, Senior Brand Manager at Coca-Cola South Pacific said, “As coffee culture continues to evolve in Australia, we took this as an inspiration to create a sparkling fusion of Coca-Cola and coffee.”

The drink has been designed to be consumed as is, or as a mixer for alcoholic beverages.

Coca-Cola South Pacific spokeswoman Lisa Winn said the company believe their new product will be a great-tasting afternoon pick-me-up.

“Australians have a love affair with coffee so why not give them more of what they want,” Winn said.

How does the caffeine content compare to other drinks?

At 14mg of caffeine per 100ml, Coca-Cola Plus Coffee No Sugar has more caffeine than regular Coca-Cola (9mg), but far less than a cappuccino, at 43mg.

Coca-Cola Plus Coffee No Sugar will be available nationwide in all major and independent retailers across Australia from October 2017.

It has been produced in numerous variations, including 1.25L PET, 600mL PET and 330mL glass.
