Primo launches premium flavoured bacon range
Primo's new Premium Selections bacon
Primo is now selling a new premium flavoured bacon range.
Three flavours are available in the range – Smokey BBQ, Black Pepper and Spicy Chilli.
The entire range is available pre-packaged in the dairy section at Coles. Black Pepper and Smokey BBQ is also available through Coles’ deli.
To launch the new range, Primo has partnered with Hangover Hero, a Sydney food delivery service that specialises in delivering hangover foods including burgers, burritos and fried chicken.
Working with Primo, Hangover Hero has created a number of hangover friendly recipes using Primo’s flavoured bacon range.
Primo spokesperson, Donna Oakley Davies, said Primo’s Premium Selections Bacon range is well suited for breakfast, burgers and BBQ’s.
“Primo has created a new range to turn every meal into a premium café experience at home,” Oakley Davies said.
Pre-packaged Primo Premium Selections Bacon sold in the dairy section at Coles has a recommended retail price of AUD $6.50.
Primo is owned by the Australian arm of Brazil’s largest meat processor, JBS Australia. JBS Australia acquired Primo in 2014 in a $1.4 billion deal.
