COYO launches yoghurt containing hemp
COYO is now selling a new coconut yoghurt containing hemp.
The new COYO Hemp and Blueberry contains hemp seeds, which are now allowed as a food ingredient after the food was approved at the Australian and New Zealand Ministerial Forum of Food Regulation in April 2017.
COYO said the new flavour was developed after a customer requested COYO incorporate the newly legalised food in their yoghurt.
To help launch COYO Hemp and Blueberry, COYO is releasing recipes using the yoghurt on their website. The product will also be promoted through interviews with nutritionists and in wellness articles.
COYO Hemp and Blueberry will be sold at select supermarkets and health food stores for a limited-time only. It is available in a 150g tub with a recommended retail price of AUD $5.45, in a 350g tub with a recommended retail price of AUD $9.15 and in a 500g tub with a recommended retail price of AUD $11.55.
