Powerade with coconut water released
Coca-Cola South Pacific has launched a new limited-edition Powerade variety containing coconut water.
The new ‘Powerade Pineapple Storm ION4+ Coconut Water’ aims to tap into the popularity of coconut water without moving far away from the traditional Powerade ION4+ sports drink formula.
Coca-Cola South Pacific Hydration Brand Operations Manager, Bridget Slipper, said Pineapple Storm demonstrates the innovation inherent in the Powerade brand.
“We’re excited to share what Powerade has to offer in a new flavour as part of our strategy to drive growth through the continual refinement of our hydration and sport drinks range,” Slipper said.
The launch of Pineapple Storm will be promoted through a targeted marketing campaign, focusing on out-of-home channels.
Powerade Pineapple Storm ION4+ Coconut Water is available now in all major and independent Australian beverage retailers for a limited time only.
