Sara Lee answers demand for individual dessert servings
Sara Lee has launched a new individual portion dessert crumble range to cater to smaller household sizes.
Sold in packs of four individual servings, there are two flavours currently available – Apple Berry Chocolate and Apple and Butterscotch.
The crumbles can be cooked within 75 seconds in the microwave.
McCain Foods Senior Brand Manager, Laura Gomez-Gracia, said Sara Lee’s latest products release recognises the need to offer single serve desserts with the added benefit of microwave convenience.
“We know that consumers are looking for dessert options that are convenient and flexible, but that also deliver an intricate depth of flavour, textures and indulgent satisfaction,” Gomez Garcia said.
The desserts are available now at Coles, Woolworths and Metcash supermarkets (flavour availabilities vary between stores).
The recommended retail price is AUD $7.49 per 4x100g pack.
