Herbert Adams launches wine pies
Herbert Adams has launched a new range of pies featuring Andrew Peace Wines.
Three flavours feature in the ‘Herbert Adams Gourmet Wine Infusions’ range:
- Slow-cooked beef with caramelised onion cabernet sauvignon
- Slow-cooked beef with shiraz and cracked pepper
- Slow-cooked beef with Portobello mushroom and merlot
General Manager of Innovation at Patties Food, Anand Suruipal, said Herbert Adams decided to combine wine and pie together after talking and listening to customers for over 12 months.
“We saw a great alignment between red wine and a premium dinner meal and we thought – why not enjoy that luxury at home?” Suruipal said.
“In response, we developed a range of flavours which consumers have said taste delicious!”
The pies are sold in two packs with a recommended retail price of AUD $6.70.
Herbert Adams Gourmet Wine Infusions range is available now at Woolworths, Coles and Coles Express convenience stores.
Andrew Peace Wines are produced alongside the Murray River in the Swan Hill region of Victoria.
