DariKay launches new hummus dip range
Australian gourmet soup and curry manufacturer DariKay have launched a new range of “garnished” hummus under the brand Dari’s Table.
The new range includes Beetroot Hummus, Olive Hummus, Roasted Garlic Hummus, Almond Hummus, Pine Nuts Hummus, Mediterranean Hummus and Harissa Hummus. DariKay says the Dari’s Table range is “gluten free, dairy free, animal-fat free, egg free and kosher”.
DariKay, run by husband and wife team Dari and Yehiel Kaplan, already produces a range of hot and cold soups, including Moroccan Minestrone, Parsnip and Wild Rocket, Parzotta, Thai Pumpkin, Red Curry, and Sweet Potato and Lentils.
The Company said its focus on “quality ingredients” comes from co-founder Yehiel Kaplan’s farming background. Before becoming a chef 25 years ago, co-founder of DariKay Yehiel Kaplan worked as a kibbutz farmer in Israel.
“We were taking food fresh from the earth and straight to the table. It was amazing,” Mr Kaplan said. “So I know just how good natural ingredients can be,” he said.
The new Dari’s Table dip range is available for $4.99 RRP at Woolworths and Coles supermarkets, as well as speciality grocery stores Thomas Dux and Harris Farm.
