Product development value for money, FoodLegal Innovation Masterclass
Tough times and limited budgets. Great ideas but limited funds. These are some of the issues that led food marketing compliance experts FoodLegal to develop its Innovation Masterclass.
FoodLegal said its Innovation Masterclass has been designed for Australian food companies that are “trying to create something out of nothing”. The masterclass will spell out all the regulatory hurdles and opportunities in new product development, using a practical and sensible approach, free of technical jargon.
The FoodLegal Innovation Masterclass was developed specifically for Australian regulatory conditions. It will be held in both Sydney and Melbourne.

Co-presented by FoodLegal’s Charles Fisher and Honi Cervi, both leaders in the highly specialised area of food innovation in Australia, the FoodLegal Innovation Masterclass will be taught in a small class setting, highlighting the essential skills and contemporary team-based methods that every food business needs to be implementing for growth today, tomorrow and beyond. The course also aims to create and give peace of mind that all the regulatory risks are considered throughout the development process.
The full-day masterclass will cover topics including regulatory hurdles and opportunities in new product development, how to protect innovations in the new product development process and on entry into the market, how to gain points of difference under the new health claims legislation and how to classify products to get the best regulatory advantages.
Using case studies and interactive exercises, the FoodLegal Innovation Masterclass will also provide an overview of new product development management, examining how you can avoid costly mistakes and how Stage Gating principles can minimise risk and optimise innovation.
