Traditional preserves brand Anathoth Farm has launched a new Sweet Chilli Relish in Australia.

Anathoth Farm is based in Geraldine in New Zealand and produces a range of farm-made jams, curds and relishes, which are sold in Coles supermarkets in Australia. Anathoth Farm said it makes all its products “on the farm” at the foothills of the Southern Alps in New Zealand.

The new Sweet Chilli Relish is made with New Zealand tomatoes, apples and capsicums. The product is a mild/sweet-chilli flavour. The Company said the relish is also “naturally gluten free” and “does not contain preservatives, colours or flavours”.

Anathoth Farm said its Sweet Chilli Relish product recently took out the Relish category at the 2015 Australian Product of the Year Awards, held in Sydney in February 2015. Hosted by Channel Nine’s Lisa Wilkinson, the awards event is the result of Australia’s largest independent consumer survey of new products, with more than 15,000 household shoppers surveyed to determine the winners. Established 28 years ago, Product of the Year said it operates “to guide consumers to the best products in their market, and rewards manufacturers for quality and innovation”.

“We are delighted to be recognised as the winner of the Relish category in Australia’s Product of the Year,” said Danielle Esplin, Sales and Marketing Manager at Anathoth Farm. “We are humbled that consumers think so highly of our Sweet Chilli Relish,” she said.

Ananthoth Farm’s Sweet Chilli Relish is available from Coles supermarkets nationally for RRP $4.49.
