Five:am launches cacao yoghurt in Australia
Leading Australian yoghurt brand five:am has launched a cacao yoghurt in Australia.
Five:am is now a subsidiary of international consumer products group PZ Cussons Australia and New Zealand, which acquired the yoghurt brand in August 2014. Five:am produce a premium range of Australian made and certified organic products.
Five:am has been one of the most successful entrants to the Australian food industry over the past decade. The business has strong retail partnerships across the country and the potential for significant growth, both within Australia and other markets. Its products are manufactured at its facility in south-east Melbourne.
The Company said cacao is “the purest form of chocolate made by cold-pressing cocoa beans, resulting in a raw powder”. It said this process “retains the living enzymes but removes the fat”, resulting in a “nutritionally complex food”.
“Raw cacao has incredible properties known to improve energy levels and cardiovascular functions and contains antioxidants, amino acids, magnesium, zinc, iron and phytonutrients, just to name a few,” said Jacqueline Alwill five:am Nutritionist.
Five:am said the Cacao Yoghurt would make “the perfect pick-me-up snack or after dinner treat”.
The five:am Cacao Yoghurt is available now in Coles supermarkets, and coming to other leading supermarkets soon.
