Food Recall: Sunbeam Pistachios
Sunbeam is conducting a voluntary recall of pistachio nuts after being informed by its Australian supplier of pistachio nuts that the pistachio nuts may be contaminated with the Salmonella bacteria.
Symptoms of Salmonella poisoning are vomiting, diarrhoea and abdominal pain – which persists for more than 24 hours.
Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice, while retailers should remove the products from their shelves (if they have not already done so).
This voluntary recall applies only to the product listed below with the nominated best before dates. No other Sunbeam product is affected by this recall.
Customers should return the products to the place of purchase for a full refund.
