Australia’s first syndicated product testing platform introduced

PlaySydney based company Play Market Research has introduced Australia’s first syndicated product testing platform.

The new platform called ‘Pop Up Shopper Community’ will see consumers receive grocery items to test at home rather than at testing centres.

Play Market Research founder Chris Thomas said that the new platform should lower product testing costs.

“Six months ago, we recruited thousands of shoppers to create a new, automated and systematic program of product testing,” Thomas. “Rather than pay respondents to attend a centralised location and complete long and arduous surveys, the POP UP Shopper Community focuses on In Home User Testing (IHUT) – making completing surveys faster, more convenient and more fun overall for everyone involved.”

Each month participants will receive ten products from categories they already purchase from. Consumers will not be paid for participating but are expected to complete surveys so they can receive free products.

Testing has already commenced with the results from the first 20 products are expected to be published in October 2015.

Play Market Research is a Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) research company which was established in 2013.
