Ward McKenzies launches new salt range
Ward McKenzie’s have launched a new ‘pinch pots’ salt range into Australian supermarkets.
The product line comes in four flavours which are packaged in small pots that consumers can take a pinch of salt from when cooking or seasoning.
Ward McKenzie’s Pinch Pot Flavours:
Sea Salt Flakes (70g): Ideal for steaks, poultry, pork and lamb. Ward McKenzie’s say the salt can be best used on roast vegetables or as a finishing salt on rich chocolate.
Sea Salt & Pepper Blend (60g): Consists of black and green peppercorns, bell pepper and pimento. It is recommended for scrambled eggs, roasted vegetables or salads.
Lemon & Thyme Sea Salt (55g): Combines sea salt with lemon peel, thyme, onion flakes and roasted garlic. Best for fish, chicken, lamb or potatoes.
Garlic Sea Salt (55g): A mix of sea salt and roasted garlic. Can be used in pasta sauces, risottos, roast vegetables, fish, lamb, beef, pork and chicken.
Ward McKenzie’s is Australian owned and has been in operation since 1852. The company specialises in a range of cooking staples including bi-carb soda, flours, soup supplies, herbs and spices.
Ward McKenzie’s Pinch Pots are available now from Coles supermarkets across Australia. The recommended retail price is $5.00 per pot.
