Easter-Cake1Baskin-Robbins is extending its Tuxedo ice cream cake range.

The new range allows customers to design their own cake. Customers start by choosing an ice cream base from Baskin-Robbin’s 31 different flavours. They then choose from five different types of chocolate shards, followed by their choice of ten different toppings which include caramel popcorn, mixed berries and chocolate brownies.

Baskin-Robbins General Manager David Jordan said that all Tuxedo ice cream cakes are made according to order.

“Each Tuxedo cake is handmade from scratch in store,” Jordan said.

“From mid-January 2016, the Baskin-Robbins Franchise Partner network have participated in an advanced Ice Cream Cake training and reaccreditation programme in preparation for this range extension. This initiative has ensured that our product quality offering is consistent across all stores and most importantly, still offers the variety of ice cream cakes for our guests,” he stated.

Jordan said Basking-Robbins has the goal of growing the ice cream cake market in Australia through awareness of ice cream as an alternative celebration cake.

“Market insight reflect that guests are demanding innovative ideas and variety; our new Tuxedo range extensions offer guests numerous choices and provides hundreds of unique ice cream cake combination ideas,” Jordan commented.

The new Tuxedo ice cream cakes are available now from all Australian Baskin-Robbin stores. The recommended retail starting price is AUD$39.95 for a 6 inch round cake.
