Aldi named supermarket of the year, again!
Aldi has been named Supermarket of the Year in the 2016 Roy Morgan Research Customer Satisfaction Awards.
It is the fourth time Aldi has been named supermarket of the year since the awards were established in 2011.
The Roy Morgan Research Customer Satisfaction Awards are based off 12 months of data collected by Roy Morgan Research through its Consumer Single Source Survey.
Aldi said the win proves it is “proudly different”.
“Our consistently low prices do not have to equal low quality or poor service,” said an Aldi spokesperson.
Other food and beverage winners for the year include Wesfarmer’s First Choice Liquor which won Liquor Store of the Year, Guzman y Gomez which won Quick Service Restaurant of the Year and Muffin Break which was awarded Coffee Shop of the Year.
