McCain launches sourdough pizza range
McCain has launched a new frozen pizza range; Rustica wood-fired sourdough.
The range includes three flavour options – Spinach and Mozzarella with Sundried Tomatoes, Margherita and Four Cheese.
McCain says the pizzas have a sourdough crust and are baked in a wood-fired oven using no artificial preservatives or flavours.
Head of Marketing at McCain Foods, Katrina Wilson, said McCain believes many families would rather eat a Rustica pizza at home than make their own pizza or go to a restaurant to eat one.
“The pizza market in Australia keeps growing, and the offerings are getting more gourmet and consumers more demanding of quality,” Wilson said.
McCain’s Rustica Sourdough pizzas can be purchased now from the freezer aisle of Coles, Woolworths and Metcash supplied supermarkets for AUD $7.49.
