As part of the Future Orchards® program, Apple and Pear Australia Limited (APAL), which is the peak marketing body of Australian apple and pear growers, and its partners run orchard walks two to three times every year in each major apple and pear growing region in the country.

These events are coordinated by the local Front Line Adviser and usually comprise an international and Australian expert guest presenter. They start inside for formal presentations and proceed out into the orchard for practical activities.
