MasterChef Live now taking applications
A brand new event is launching in Sydney this December that will bring Australia’s favourite cooking show to life and is set to be the hottest ticket in town for anyone in the food and beverage industry – MasterChef Live.
With the phenomenal success of the last two television series, the new live event will build on the power of the MasterChef brand with a festival of cooking to be held from 10-12 December at the Hordern Pavilion and Royal Hall of Industries at Moore Park.
Encompassing both a Festival of Cooking and live theatre show that will bring the MasterChef experience to its fans, MasterChef Live will give brands an opportunity to engage with visitors in a new, interactive way.
The mouth-watering Festival of Cooking will allow visitors to taste some of Australia’s best produce, take part in taste and invention tests, watch and learn from the best chefs in the country including Mark Best, Neil Perry, Kylie Kwong, Peter Gilmore, Justin North and many more*.
In addition to the festival there will be a live theatre show bringing together judges Gary Mehigan, George Calombaris and Matt Preston for sixty minutes of non-stop cooking action and entertainment, complete with celebrity guest chefs and some of the favourite MasterChef contestants. There will be a chance to learn new cooking skills, watch challenges and master classes and get all of the behind-the-scenes exclusives from the TV show.
Coles has already come on board as title sponsor of the event and will be providing a real life pantry for the theatre show due to its alignment with chefs and great ingredients. Other sponsors already on board include Jaguar, Tefal, Network TEN and MasterChef magazine.
Kevin Goult, general manager of Jaguar, said: “MasterChef Live provides Jaguar Australia with the opportunity to place our brand amongst a new audience. The buzz generated from MasterChef and the exquisite dishes created fit perfectly with the Jaguar brand, fine dining and experiences.”
For all type of producers, exhibitors and brands alike, there are a number of opportunities to create exciting foodie experiences throughout the show, with various areas such as the organic pavilion, the MasterChef Live farmers market, a number of cookery school and demonstration areas and retail stands.
Exhibitors already appearing at the show include Maggie Beer, Flying Fish, Pure Food Essentials and The Veggie Lady.
MasterChef Live is now taking applications from companies and brands that wish to take stands or sponsor areas of the show. For further information about taking a stand or becoming a sponsor, email mastercheflive@brandevents.com.au or visit www.mastercheflive.com.au.

Hi I was not sure what email to use, but I wanted to say how much I value your program, it’s the first program that I have seen in a while that up hold good decent morals, i particulary enjoyed the sweet kids, and how your program showed them to be. I enjoy the fact that there is no rudeness and backstabbing that is seen in other real life programs….well done my suggestion is to do an adolescent master chef!!!!thanks again for great wholesome family viewing there needs to be more of it!!!!
this competition is so healthy. i mean one can really open one’s food intellect and come up with ideas that can be beyond one’s imgination. i love food and what better way to experiment with them with your loved ones. i love the show, and i get to practice them on my friends.
