Foodco Group consolidates Australia-NZ operations
Foodco Group, owner of the Muffin Break, Dreamy Donut and Jamaica Blue chains, has purchased its New Zealand counterpart in a consolidation of local operations.
The 36 New Zealand franchises will be added to the company’s 250 Australian retail outlet, in a move which the company’s Managing Director Serge Infanti says will strengthen the brand.
“The New Zealand team will join Foodco’s management team and continue to be heavily involved in the day to day running of the business. The transaction will also offer Foodco the opportunity to consolidate key business functions to improve efficiency and service to its franchisees and customers across Muffin Break outlets in New Zealand,” said Infanti.
