In a joint statement from Asahi Beverages Australia Pty Ltd and Woolworths Supermarkets, the suppliers said the recall of the products is due to “possible presence of metal shavings”.

The statement said, “Beverage products containing metal shavings may cause injury if consumed. Asahi Beverages Australia Pty Ltd (formerly P&N Beverages Australia Pty Ltd) sincerely apologises for any inconvenience.”
